A lot of famous writers advise you to schedule writing time each day so as to get into a pattern of writing, and that any writing is better than none. Good for them, but that doesn't work for me. Bad writing that doesn't please you as a writer certainly isn't going to please a reader. My words dictate themselves to me and that is the kind of writer I will always be.
